Paris, France is a destination that almost everyone should want to see in their life time. It is a place where history breeds romance, and where old world charm meets modernity. Paris France has only one downfall; there are so many tourist destinations and attractions to see in one vacation. Just taking in the beauty of the natural landscape could take up your entire vacation therefore I will recommend a few must see attractions. Perhaps this is one trip where an air tight itenarary will make the most of your vacation.

The Louvre makes first on my list as it is a great starting point when visiting Paris, France. The Louvre is the world's largest and most diverse collection of historic paintings, sculpures and other art objects. Here, you will get to see the Mona Lisa, indulge in the gardens which are adjacent to the breath taking palace itself and learn about much of the history of Paris from themedieval period through today. Since this is the world's largest collection, this should take up an entire day of your fully packed schedule.

Now that you have seen the romantic and awe-inspiring architecture of the Louvre, the next stop should very well be the Notre Dame Catherdral. Here your imagination will be swept away as you take in this beautiful and stunning gothic masterpiece. Complete with dramatic towers and stained glass, this medieval marvel took over 100 years to complete. This is medieval Paris at it's finest and an absolute must see.

Not that I have to tell you to see the Eiffel Tower, as it is the Paris tourists staple, but it did make my top list of must see Paris attractions. I will give you a bit of history on this must see landmark. While it was the center of discontentment among France natives when it was first unveiled, today it represents Paris as the elegant, romantic, historic and contemporary city that it is. The tower, made of iron, was built in 1889 for the World Exposition by Gustave Eiffel. While most have seen pictures and movies with the Eiffel tower in the background, seeing it in person will most certainly take your breath away. It gives a glow to the night sky and a hopeful light during any storm. Perhaps this is why it has now reached more than 220 million visitors since it's humbling arrival.

The next attraction is viewed as a timeless peice of art today but the era it was built in, during the reign of Emporer Napoleon, didn't view it as such. Arc de Triomphe was deisgned to portray a France that was overflowing with military power and triumph. The 164 foot Arc, commemorating Napoleon's generals and soldiers, leads to Avenue des Champs-Elysees. Both the Arc and the Avenue will leave you feeling the splendor that the Emporer once felt.

This is a tiny list of attractions in a city that is wall-to-wall with historic monuments, grand buildings, art displays, timeless artifacts and cultural finds. Paris is a city where you can indulge in just about every fancy of the vacationers dream. Paris, France literally has hundreds of years waiting for your eyes to feast on and even more diverse attractions awaiting your arrival.

Vancouver has a breathtaking view, a place where city truly meets wilderness and where you can experience modernity coupled with nature excursions. There is so much uniqueness and diversity in Singapore that we will be listing the odd attractions and must do’s rather than the same old museums, comedy clubs and monuments. Stepping back in time by visiting a well liked hole-in-the-wall confectionary, Chin Mee Chin, is a good place to start. This 65 year old charming breakfast and teas shop is far from modern but can provide insight into a rich history and culture.

When you are looking to escape from the hip-chic and modernized night life, head to Wala Wala. The moos here is laid back, the dress is very casual and the live band takes center stage. This pub draws it’s crowds which are as diverse as the city itself, offering chicken wings to pizza and everything in between. This hopping night time eatery and bar will bring Singapore into the heart of any traveler.

If you are looking for line dancing and a more interactive night time treat, then the Far East Square is the place to go. Die-hards grooving to the music of Country, Western, pop hits and odd samba. We have come to know convenience at Wal-Mart but a 24 hour six story shopping mall that is full of bargains, sometimes half that of an entire department store, is a shopaholic delight. Even if you’re not a shopaholic, you will see this rare find as not only delightful but creative and convenient. From local finds to major appliances, this mall has everything. You can find late night bargains at 145 Syed Alwi Road.

In addition to the more unique venues, some of the great and trusted attractions can be found in Singapore. Venture out and soak in Animal Kingdom, Butterfly Park, Night Safari, or the Singapore Zoo. Visit the Ethnic Quarters and see Little India, Chinatown, Gevlang Serai and Kmpong Glam. Indulge yourself in the Isles of Singapore and enjoy Kusu Island, Pulau Ubin, Sentosa and St. John’s Island.

Rome City Guide for Travelers

Rome is certainly known for the Vatican, but outside of that, this city is filled with rich history, beautiful architecture and a multitude of museums and monuments. Rome wasn’t built in a day and you can’t expect to see it all in a short amount of time either. In a four day time span, you may be able to see the major attractions, but you still wouldn’t have time to really soak in the splendor and culture that Rome has to offer.

Dining in Rome shouldn’t be a chore. A plethora of dining establishments line the streets and are on every corner. Most are superb and even the house wine is tasty. The restaurants serve up tasty yet simple dishes including pasta, pizza, veal chicken and seafood. Most waiters speak English, and are more than hospitable. Since there are so many delicious eatery’s, choosing may be difficult. Simply choose what landscape you want to view while dining, after all, there is little difference in the quality or food or service.

You will be seeing many sights during your stay in Rome, and your boutique or luxury hotel room may become lonely and the maid a little bored. To get from one attraction to another, it is recommended that you get the tourist tickets called BIT or CIS which are good for unlimited rides. The BIT is good for three days and the CIS is valid for one week.

The Castel St. Angelo offers six sights including the Bridge of Castel St. Angelo and is absolutely breathtaking. See works from Broto, Peinado, Curro Gonzalez, Pedro J. Romero and Ray Smith. Other museums of interest includes Museo de Bellas Artes, which houses ceramic, gold and silver artifacts as well as other art mediums, Museo de la Marcarena where you will find subliminal statutes of Mary and other crowns, antiques and candelmas and Museo de la Necropolis, where you will find collections of Roman artifacts from the first century AD.

Many other areas of interest and attractions are available throughout Seville. Depending on the length of your stay, you may want to research some of these legendary and historic sites. Just walking through Prague could keep you in awe and fill your itinerary with the unique but grand buildings, castle like architecture, monuments and statutes throughout the city. What lies inside of these gorgeous structures and the history thereof will absolutely jam-pack your schedule and offer you little time to enjoy that luxury hotel room….unless of course you schedule carefully and extend that vacation.

For a great start to seeing grand things visit Prague Castle. This is by far the most popular sight in Prague. This ancient castle is the largest in the world, measuring 570 m long, 128 m wide and has an area of 7.28 hectares. While the castle was originally constructed in the 9th century by Prince Boojvoj, the rulers that have lived there over the years created their own areas, adding and sometimes taking away from the styles within the castle. This makes for an eclectic mixture of styles as you tour this splendid one of a kind attraction. While it has kept the classical facelift it last took on during the 18th century during the reign of Maria Theresa, styles from other time periods are evident. Other notable sights at the Prague Castle include the Chapel of the Holy Cross, the Picture Gallery of Prague Castle, The Imperial Stables, The Spanish Hall, The Rudolf Gallery, St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, The Mihulka Powder Tower, The Convent of St. George, The Basilica of St. George, The Royal Gardens, The Ball Game House, The Summer Palace, The Riding School, Golden Lane, White Tower, Daliborka Tower, Lobkowicz Palace, The Toy Museum, Schwarzenberg Palace, Archbishop Palace, Sternberg Palace, The Loreta, Capuchin Monastery, and finally Strahoy Monastery.

This town was sounded in 1257 and sits on the slopes below the Prague Castle. This, unlike other Prague areas, has been most preserved to the days of the old. Some landmarks and other areas of interest here would include Nerudova Street, Lesser Town Square, St. Nicholas Church, Wallenstein Palace, the Church of St. Thomas, Vrtba Garden, Church of Our Lady Victorious, Maltese Square, Kampa Island, Charles Bridge, Vojan Park and Petoin Hill.

Even if your not Jewish, the Prague Jewish Quarter is certainly a place to visit as it holds rich culture and history from the World War II era and beyond. The types of attractions that this area has to offer include the Old Jewish Cemetery, The Jewish Town Hall, The Church of the Holy Ghost, St. Agnes’s Convent and The Rudolfinum. Synagogue’s such as Pinkas, Klausen, The Old-New, High, Maisel and Spanish are all situated in this area.

Old Town was on the map in 1091, and is the oldest of the towns in Prague though it wasn’t established until the 13th century. After New Town was founded in the 14th century, this area gained it’s practical name of Old Town. Here, you will find a plethora of attractions. It is unlikely that you will be able to see them all, so a careful planning may be in order. The good news? Prague’s New Town was carefully planned out and founded by Charles IV in 1348. While it is twice the size of Old Town, it was mainly settled by tradesmen and craftsmen. This is the most modern area of Prague and doesn’t compliment the old world architecture and ambience of the rest of the city. There are some must see attractions in this area however. The list includes Welceslas Square, Church of Our Lady of the Snows, Franciscan Garden, National Museum, The State Opera, The Church of St. Ignatius, Jesuit College, Charles Square, Church of St. Cyril and St. Methodius, The Faust House, Slavonic Monastery, Church of St. Stephen, Church of St. Ursula and The National Theatre.

This is simply a partial list of all that Prague has to offer. Go for a lazy sight seeing ride via a boat down the Devil’s Stream or relax in your luxury or boutique hotel room. Venture out and see the various landmarks and monuments or soak up the grandeur of the area’s castles and mansions. Get in some history by visiting one of the many museums or visit one of the towns for some local culture.
